Cross Street Market to Reopen on Thursday

Baltimore restaurants, malls, and casinos were allowed to open at 50 percent capacity as of last Friday as Baltimore City entered Stage Two of the State of Maryland’s “Roadmap to Recovery.’ Federal Hill’s Cross Street Market, which has been open for curbside and carryout window service during the COVID-19 pandemic, will allow customers back inside starting this Thursday at 11am.

On Facebook, Cross Street Market announced:

To ensure the safety of our guests and vendors, we’re asking everyone to practice social distancing, wear masks when not eating and observe posted signage.

Our team is taking every precaution necessary, including providing hand and table sanitizer for your use.

Thank you for your continued patience, and for supporting the Heart of Federal Hill!

Cross Street Market’s initial hours will be Sunday to Thursday from 11am to 8pm and Friday to Sunday from 11am to 9pm.

Cross Street Market also has outdoor seating along the southside of the block-long market.

Bullhead Pit Beef, which will be the 18th business to open in Cross Street Market, is currently under construction. Altas Restaurant Group’s Atlas Fish Market and Watershed have been announced and designs have been approved, but construction has not yet started.

The market joins a number of South Baltimore restaurants and bars that have reopened as COVID-19 restrictions have been loosened in the city. Restaurants have been allowed to open for carryout food and drinks for much of the pandemic and were allowed to open for outdoor seating starting on May 29th.
