SoBo Food Truck Nites Coming to Locust Point

SoBo Food Truck Nites is coming to the Knights of Columbus at 1338 Hull St. in Locust Point. This new food truck event will take place on Thursday nights on May 17th, May 31st, June 14th, and June 28th from 530pm-730pm.

The event is organized by food trucks Pizza di Joey, which is owned by Riverside resident Joey Vanoni, and Pan Canteen, which is owned by Paul Burgess and often stationed in Federal Hill.

The event will feature food trucks in the parking lot at Knights of Columbus. The facility will also be open for indoor seating and to serve drinks, offering $7 all-you-can-drink beer and wine, and $1 sodas. Admission is free.

Pizza di Joey specializes in over-sized, New York-style pizza slices. Pan Canteen offers Spanish and Asian dishes that are served as bowls and in cones.

Vanoni told SouthBMore.com that this will be a “fun and friendly” neighborhood event.

Music will be played over the speakers at Knights of Columbus.

Vanoni is interested in scheduling additional events if the first four go well and potentially adding additional trucks in the future.
