Federal Hill Lights Lantern Workshop for Kids on March 25th and 30th

Federal Hill Main Street Release:

Bring the kids out to one of these great workshops and they can build a lantern that will be displayed at a local Federal Hill business! Each child should bring their own clean 2-liter plastic bottle or paper milk/orange juice carton and the rest of the supplies will be provided!

Businesses along Light, Cross & Charles Streets will host the lanterns in their windows during Federal Hill Lights in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Light City Baltimore promotion from March 31st to April 8th. On March 25 workshops will be held in two locations at 11am and 1pm.The first location is at Cross Street Market (across from Big Jim’s) and at Scrap Bmore at 925 S. Charles St. On March 30th two workshops will be held at Enoch Pratt Free Library on Light Street at 4 and 6pm. If you register for the March 25th class, you will be notified after registration of your workshops location

Any donations of craft supplies are greatly appreciated!

We will need tissue paper, glue, magic markers, wax paper and extra soda bottles and milk cartons. Crafts are suitable for children ages 5 and up! Please email hill@fedhill.org for more information. Sign up soon to guarantee your spot.
