The following incident occurred in the Riverside neighborhood.

Robbery Arrest
On November 24, 2017, at approximately 10:00pm, a man was approached by an unknown suspect in the 800 block of E. Fort Avenue. The suspect was armed with a gun and demanded a set of car keys. The victim gave the suspect his keys before leaving the location.
The victim then approached a police officer and reported the robbery. A short time later, officers located the suspect on Fort Avenue and arrested him. Officers recovered a handgun and the victims car keys from the suspect.
18-year Kendrick Blackmon, of the 2300 block of Braddish Avenue, was transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility. Blackmon is charged with robbery, assault, and gun related charges.
