Four Juveniles Arrested After Two Robberies Last Night in Federal Hill; An Assault Leads to a Stolen Car in Pigtown

Four juveniles were arrested in connection with two robberies last night in Federal Hill. The incidents occurred on the 500 block of Light St. and the 1300 block of S. Charles St. (also in the South Baltimore Neighborhood) around 11pm.

Baltimore Police Department (BPD) Southern District Commander Major Steven Ward told SouthBMore.com there were no injuries and the suspects were unarmed at the time of arrest. Stolen property was recovered from the suspects.

The suspects were apprehended by uniformed patrol officers who were already “flooding the area” in response to recent robberies, according to Major Ward. A BPD Foxtrot helicopter was called to the area, but the suspects were already in custody by the time it arrived.

Another incident occurred on the 800 block of Ryan St. in the Camden Crossing community in Pigtown. A male was assaulted by a group of males who stole the victim’s car keys and then his car, according to BPD.
