Himalayan Bistro has closed its Indian and Nepalese restaurant at 1030 Light St. in Federal Hill. Owner Danny Lamichhane told SouthBMore.com he is currently searching for a smaller space in the neighborhood to reopen his business.
Himalayan Bistro opened on Light St. in 2016 after spending 15 months building out its 3,600 sq. ft. restaurant in a former 7-Eleven space. Danny Lamichhane ran the restaurant along with his wife Kalpana Lamichhane.
The restaurant had a full Indian and Nepalese menu, as well as offered a lunch and dinner buffet and catering services.
