This Weekend Events Around Baltimore is brought to you by the Pigtown Festival:

Pigtown Festival at 700-900 Washington Boulevard: Saturday from 12pm-7pm

Come see what the other communities are squealing about. The Pigtown Festival is downtown Baltimore’s only community festival wild enough to bring you “SQUEAKNESS”-pigs races!!! This FREE family friendly event features live music- Ursula Ricks Project, The Scotch Bonnets and Rufus Roundtree and Da B’more Brass Band, an array of local food, arts and craft vendors, great craft beer, pie eating contests and a fantastic KidZone.

In the KidZone, families can enjoy the following special events: Free Style Paint Activity * Enoch Pratt Library Books & Craft Activities * Get Crafty with the B & O Railroad Museum * Scrap B’More Creative re-use stain glass window activity. Kids of all ages can join in on the fun with Ian Carrol, the one-man band, can try their hand at the STX Lacrosse Shootout., visit with Ferret & Friends and create a unique hat with The Tattered HattersBaltimore Hoop Love will give you an opportunity to try out your hula hoop skills and enjoy some balloon sculpture fun. Free books from the The Baltimore Raven’s Book Mobile. Don’t miss the visit from the Oriole Bird.

Proceeds will benefit Pigtown Main Street, whose mission is to revitalize the Washington Boulevard Commercial Corridor-Pigtown’s main business artery-through events, support for small businesses and clean, green and safe initiative.
