Two Riverside/Federal Hill Robberies Lead to Four Arrests

From Councilman Eric Costello:

Thank you to the Baltimore Police Department’s Southern District for the quick response in apprehending four juveniles in relation to multiple armed robberies last evening (Tuesday, Jan 19) in South Baltimore / Riverside. Official report from Major Brian Hance below:

“On January 19, 2016, four male juvenile suspects approach a 26 year old man in the 600 block of Clement Street and announced a robbery. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. That suspect demanded the victim’s cell phone and ear buds.

All four suspects then fled the location on foot with the victim’s property.

A short time later, while in the 600 block of Heath Street, a second victim, a 29 year-old male, was approached by the same four male juveniles, one of whom was again armed with a gun. The armed suspect demanded the victim’s cell phone.

Soon after, all four suspects were located. Southern District patrol units along with the assistance of Auxiliary Police and Fox Trot (helicopter) chased the suspects and were able to apprehend and arrest all four. Arrested were two 17 year-old males and two 16 year-old males. One of the 17 year-old males was identified as being the one armed with a gun.”
