Mi & Yu Adding Second Location
After nearly eight successful months in Federal Hill, Mi & Yu Noodle Bar is planning its second location at Mount Vernon Marketplace in Mount Vernon. Mi & Yu will open in an 800 sq. ft. space towards to back of the market. Mi & Yu will have 40 dedicated seats between a bar and high-top tables, which is double the seating of Federal Hill. Owner Edward Kim told SouthBMore.com that he hopes to open a third location later this year and he is eying Hampden, Charles Village or Harbor East.

Baba’s Adding Second Location
Baba’s Mediterranean Kitchen, SouthBMore’s Best Winner for BYOB Restaurant and Carryout or Delivery Restaurant, is taking its popular cuisine to Remington. Owner Farid Salloum is opening a second restaurant called ARBA at R. House, an under-construction food hall in Remington. In an R. House video, Slalloum said he would serve “Mediterranean street food” such as lamb burgers, eggplant fries, falafel, and octopus salad inspired by his visits to Jerusalem.
Under Armour Uniform Deals
Under Armour’s logos will be on several new sports teams as it has agreed to apparel and uniform deals with University of California, Berkeley; Howard University; and, Southampton FC of the English Premier League.
Spaces for Rent in Federal Hill
Two retail spaces in Federal Hill have new ‘For Rent’ signs on them. They are the former Four Season Salon (Kimberly Manchester of Four Seasons opened Beehive Salon at 1316 Light St.) and the former Pixilated Federal Hill, which recently closed but still has its headquarters in Morrell Park.
Ropewalk Investing in Ocean City
Ropewalk has grown fast since first opening in Federal Hill 20 years ago. It has expanded several times; opened Ropewalk locations in Bel Air, Fenwick, and Ocean City; and, also owns Stalking Horse. According the delmarvanow.com, Ropewalk is now planning a new restaurant which will be part of an eight-story hotel at the site of a former concrete plant.
Gable is Hiring

Sagamore Spirit Buys a Warehouuse
Sagamore Spirit recently started bottling its rye whiskey and now has purchased a large new building to store it. From Baltimore Business Journal:
Kevin Plank‘s whiskey company has acquired a 57,000-square-foot industrial building near Sparrows Point that it plans to use as offices and storage for the distillery.
The building at 4611 North Point Blvd. in Edgemere was sold in early March for $2.55 million, but the buyer wasn’t revealed at the time.
Sagamore Spirit, which is temporarily based at City Garage, is awaiting the completion of its new four-building campus at 301 E. Cromwell St. This includes a 27,000 sq. ft. distillery building, a 22,000 sq. ft. processing building, a 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant, and a 2,000 sq. ft. support building, all of which will surround a green courtyard space. There will also be a 120-foot water tower which will hold water from the Sagamore Farm spring.
Domino’s Adds a Dining Room
Domino’s Pizza at 1235 Light St. has reconfigured its space and now has a new dining room along with a renovated exterior.
