A plan has been approved by the Baltimore City Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals (BMZA) for three new four-story, 2,680 sq. ft. townhomes at 1815 Marshall St. in the South Baltimore Neighborhood. The homes would replace five garages and a grass lot. The plan was submitted by NW2 Engineers.
SouthBMore.com has acquired the plans from BMZA, but does not have any additional information about a construction timeline or pricing for the new homes.
The homes will share an alley with the 1800 block of Light St. and will be across Marshall St. from the 2 East Wells apartment complex. The block currently does not have any other rowhomes as it’s all industrial garages on south side of the block, and garages or parking pads from homes on 1800 block of Light St. on the northern half of the block.
The proposed townhomes will be 21 ft. wide and 40 ft. 7 in. long. The homes will have a front-loading, one-car garage on Marshall St. as well an office, full bathroom, and small rear yard on the first level.
In the plans, the second floor includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, and half bath.
The third floor has a master bedroom with a full bathroom, a laundry room, two additional bedrooms, and an additional full bathroom.
The fourth floor has a bonus room, wet bar, and rooftop deck.
The front of the first three floors of the homes are brick and the fourth floor is siding.
