Former Nick’s Inner Harbor Seafood License Lands at Driving Range
The beer and wine license for the former Nick’s Inner Harbor Seafood at Cross Street Market has landed at Bayview Driving Range in Southeast Baltimore. From Baltimore Business Journal:
Jae Lee, who co-owned the once popular bar and seafood hub in the Federal Hill market, said he was forced to reroute his business strategy in the two years since closing the longtime spot.
Gone are the days of selling sushi and shrimp over a beer at the busy, historic market. Today, Lee is focused on building up the Bayview Driving Range, a new business located near Patterson High School in Southeast Baltimore.
He hopes to have the property up to par by spring as an indoor and outdoor destination for local players, featuring 30 bays and two driving-range simulators. He is even hoping to attract some of his former restaurant customers from the market.
Lee has owned Bayview Driving Range for 10 years.
Esprit de Couture Closes in Federal Hill
Consignment shop Esprit de Couture closed at 1126 S. Charles St. in Federal Hill in March. The nonprofit, which was open for just under a year, raised more than $13,000 for veterans.
LUS Boutique Opens in Federal Hill
Women’s boutique LUS opened in recent months at 1055 S. Charles St. The retail space, which has been vacant in recent years, was previously the home of Millennium Plumbing.
Salon ‘Iconic Hair’ Opens on Fort Ave.
Iconic Hair has opened at 1500 Riverside Ave. in Federal Hill/Riverside. From the salon’s Instagram page:

Pure Raw Juice Now Certified Kosher
Pure Raw Juice, which has two locations in South Baltimore and three additional locations in the Baltimore area, has been certified Kosher by IM Kosher.
Hilltop Carryout Celebrates 50 Years
Riverside’s Hilltop Carryout celebrated its 50 year anniversary on February 27th. It posted a banner on its facade showing the price of different item in 1971, along with the winner of Best Film that year.
Hilltop is owned by the Giorgakis family.
