There was a two-vehicle accident on the 1100 block of S. Charles St. this morning at around 845am.
Baltimore Police Department (BPD) told SouthBMore.com that medics were called to the location and transported one person to an area hospital with minor injuries. A second person was seen by medics but refused transportation.
The accident caused damage to the outside of Kim’s Day Spa at 1137 S. Charles St. The accident shifted two of the windows out of place and caused some damage to the wood facade.
The Baltimore City Housing Authority inspected the damage and cleared Kim’s Day Spa to open for business today.
Kim’s Day Spa owner Kim Robbins told SouthBMore.com that the business was not open at the time of the accident and that no one was injured inside her space. Robbins was in good spirits and said that the facade needed to be improved anyway. She said her landlord informed her it would probably be a three-day construction project to fix the damage.
Kim’s Day Spa is a three-time winner of SouthBMore’s Best Nail Salon.
