On March 22, 2023, at approximately 06:15 hrs. I responded to 414 Light St. for an armed robbery. Upon my arrival, I met victim stated that he went to the parking garage in his building when (2) unknown black males exited vehicles. Both males wore dark clothing. One of the males pointed a black semi-auto handgun at victim. Suspect damned property and victim surrendered his keys, his wallet, and his cellphone. The (1) suspect then took the victims vehicle and drove it out of the parking garage. Victim then went called police. Area canvass was conducted. Southern District Defective assumed the investigation.

On March 28, 2023 at approximately 0237 hours, I was in the 900 block of Light Street when I approached by victim who advised that on this report date at approximately 0220 hours he was walking northbound even side in the 900 block of Light Street when he observed two vehicles coming from Warren Avenue. The two vehicles stopped near him and the two operators and only occupants exited the vehicles and approached him. The two drivers were described as black males in their twenties face covered and both dressed in black. The suspect then instructed victim to give them all he got. The suspects then snatched the keys, the ID, the bank card and the smartphone victim had in his hands and attempted to remove the backpack he was wearing but did not succeed. The two suspects then entered in one vehicle described as a four door black sedan and fled northbound on Light Street abandoning the a Hyundai Elantra. An area canvass was conducted to locate the suspects with negative results. District Detectives notified. Victim assistance information provide.

On 28 March 2023 at 1751 hrs. this Officer spoke with victim in regard to his 2019 Kia Optima being stolen. Victim stated that he parked and secured his vehicle on 26 March 2023 at 2200 hrs. On March 28, 2023 at approximately 0853 Hours your writer responded to 1200 Riverside Ave in reference to an attempt stolen auto. Upon my arrival I was met by a separate complainant who advised that the suspects that attempted to steal his sister vehicle got out of a white KIA Optima MD tag 7CR7242 that was parked and unoccupied. I observed the rear passenger side window broken out on the Kia and the ignition was damaged. While on scene the owner of the Kia approached your writer after waking up and realizing his vehicle was missing. Victim advised he parked the vehicle yesterday at approximately 2100 Hours in the 1200 block of Riverside Ave, and on today’s date at approximately 0930 Hours he discovered his car missing. The vehicle was towed to 6300 Belair Rd by Frankford towing. Victim assistance information provide.

On March 28, 2023 @0215 hrs. I received a call attempted stolen auto. At 8:14 am, victim responded to her vehicle which was described as a 2022 Hyundai Kona at that time she discovered an unknown suspects had damaged her rear window. Further investigation revealed the suspects damaged the vehicle steering column and vehicle ignition in attempt to steal same. Later, looking through vehicle jewelry box missing with $100 worth of jewelry missing also. Text message sent via TRU cellphone included case #, incident type, name, sequence, and link to victim witness form.

On 03-27-2023 at 0951 hrs., this officer responded to 1500 S. Hanover St. for a report of a Burglary. Upon my arrival to the location, this officer did speak with Victims. All of the residents stated an unknown person did respond inside of their home and took items without their permission. Investigations also revealed the suspect did enter and exited thru a locked sliding kitchen door by using an unknown tool to jimmy the lock open. Once inside of the residence ,keys, airpods, and a xbox game system were all taken from the 1st floor kitchen and living room area of same. Officer conducted an area canvass.
