Discovery Channel show Real Time Crime aired a lengthy segment on the investigation into the murder of 25-year-old Federal Hill resident Tim Moriconi.
Moriconi was murdered on September 27, 2018 on the 1200 block of Riverside Ave.
The episode interviews Tim Moriconi’s father Andrew Moriconi; Riverside Ave. residents Mark, Deniene, and Grace Davis whose security camera footage was used in the investigation; witness Sheelagh Bates; and Baltimore Police Department Detectives Eric Perez and Eric Ragland.

The investigation led to the arrest of then 23-year-old Baltimore resident Deandre Devon Sleet and then 23-year-old Baltimore resident Kiara Treasure Wesley. Sleet was found guilty of first degree murder, as well as guilty of additional robbery and firearm-related charges. He is serving a life sentence in prison plus 25 years. Sleet was also charged in another attempted murder.
Wesley, the driver of the car, pleaded guilty in exchange for her testimony and agreed to 15 years. Final sentencing is tomorrow.
