From Catholic Community of South Baltimore:
With the sad reality of violence once again occupying the forefront of our minds and conversations both nationally and locally, the Catholic Community of South Baltimore is partnering with the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety Engagement (MONSE), and other local partners to provide an opportunity to discuss violence in the city, signs of hope, and ways to invest in community and healing.
On Thursday, 6/2 at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety Engagement (MONSE) will present on the Baltimore City Comprehensive Violence Prevention Plan and its foundation in co-production and community partnerships.
The evening will highlight the work and local partnerships with the Archdiocese’s Grief Ministry, THREAD, God’s Best Family, and BUILD. These community partners will present and host break-out sessions for volunteers to learn more and sign-up to invest their time. This event coincides with National Wear Orange/ Gun Violence Awareness Day.
No RSVP needed. All are welcome – please feel free to spread the word! Questions? Visit wwww.southbaltcatholic.org.
