Fatal Crash Investigation

Detectives from the Baltimore Police CRASH Team are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on December 1, 2019, in South Baltimore.

At approximately 10:30pm, a 2006 Infinity G35x was traveling southbound in the 2800 block of Annapolis Road. Investigators believe the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a 2016 Ford van traveling northbound. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage in the crash.

At the time of the crash, there were four occupants inside the Infinity. All four occupants were transported to area hospitals. The driver, an 18-year old man, and another passenger, a 15-year old male, were treated and released. The second passenger, a 17-year old male, remains in critical condition. The third passenger, a 16-year old male, died from his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the Ford van, a 29-year old man, was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. He was the only occupant in the van at the time of the crash.

Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident. Any witnesses are asked to call 410-396-2606.
