Milk & Honey Market by Vagrant Coffee closed last week at 906 Washington Blvd. in Pigtown. The 1,700 sq. ft. coffee shop at SAA/EVI’s Bath House Square development opened in September 2020.
Vagrant Coffee still owns a coffee shop in Federal Hill (formerly known as 3 Bean Coffee), a Milk & Honey Market location in Station North, and another coffee shop in West Philadelphia. The company also has a coffee catering business.
Pigtown Main Street Executive Director Kim Lane released the following statement to SouthBMore.com:
Pigtown MS is working with the property owner to secure a new tenant. This beautiful space is an asset to any established business who wants to expand or relocate. This area of Pigtown features the new GroundWork Kitchen with popular businesses including Suspended Brewery and Mobtown Ballroom. Pigtown MS is installing art work and landscaping for traffic calming at the intersection this spring. It would be wonderful to have another restaurant for residents and visitors to have a good meal before drinking a craft beer at Suspended and then dancing at Mobtown.
