Beer bar Cans Filling Station closed at Cross Street Market. Cans, which was an original tenant of the redeveloped Cross Street Market when it opened in 2019, had its last day of business on Sunday.
Cans owner Will Glass also owns Taps Fill Station at Mount Vernon Marketplace.

Caves Valley Partners (CVP) is the controlling partner of Cross Street Market. CVP Partner Arsh Mirmiran told SouthBMore.com they will look to find another beer stall to take over the space.
There are currently seven vacant stalls in the market including the larger spaces vacated by Rooster & Hen and Cans. In the past year and a half, vendors Annoula’s Greek Kitchen, Ono Poké, Phubs, Rice Crook, Rooster & Hen, Royal Farms Chicken, Southrn’ Spice, and Cans Filling Station have closed at Cross Street Market. New concepts added in that period of time include The Chicken Lab, Blowfish Poke, Watershed, Atlas Fish Market, and Crepe Crazy.
Mirmiran told SouthBMore.com an empanada concept is coming to the former Ono Poké space. He also said discussions are underway for an Egyptian concept, as well as for a group of local radio stations to occupy one of the stalls.
It was announced today that Atlas Restaurant Group, which owns Watershed and Atlas Fish Market at Cross Street Market, will take on a larger role in the operations and marketing of the market.
