Pratt Library Buildings to Reopen on Monday

The Pratt Library buildings, which include locations in Federal Hill, Pigtown, Brooklyn, and Cherry Hill, will reopen to the public on Monday, March 8th. All locations will be open at 25 percent capacity for limited services, including browsing and computer use. From the Pratt Library website:

THE FOLLOWING LIMITED SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE IN LIBRARY BUILDINGS:

• Browse and borrow items from the collection
• Public computer use, limited to two (2) hours
• Copier and fax use (where available)

All Pratt locations will be open, first come, first served, during the following hours. Once the building reaches 25% capacity, security will limit entry. Please note, the Hampden Branch remains closed for renovations.

Monday	10 am – 5 pm
Tuesday	12 pm – 7 pm
Wednesday	10 am – 5 pm
Thursday	12 pm – 7 pm
Friday	10 am – 5 pm
Saturday	10 am – 5 pm

TO ENTER THE BUILDING, WE ASK THAT YOU:

• Wear a mask or face covering for the duration of your visit
• Get your temperature checked
• Undergo a health screening
• Provide your name and contact information for COVID-19 contact tracing
• Maintain social distancing

Safety Procedures

To keep our customers and staff safe, COVID-19 safety guidelines are in place. The Pratt Library is following best practice provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Please observe the following policies during your visit to the Pratt:

• All customers and staff are required to wear face coverings

• The Pratt is regularly consulting with the City Health Department

• Seating areas inside the buildings are closed

• High-touch surfaces are regularly cleaned throughout the day

• Social distancing protocols are in place

• All locations are regularly disinfected

• Any items handled by customers are placed in quarantine

• Customers and staff are asked to stay home if they are feeling ill
