Planit, a Federal Hill-based communications, marketing, and digital agency, has added THB Bagelry + Deli to its roster of clients. Planit owns Order & Chaos Coffee, which is attached to its Key Hwy Headquarters, and the cafe is now selling THB’s bagels as part of the marketing partnership.
THB has engaged Planit “to lead its earned media and influencer marketing efforts, as it seeks to build brand awareness with local and national audiences,” according to a press release.
Order & Chaos Coffee will sell single-serve THB bagels topped with cream cheeses or as a sandwich. Customers can place large orders of bagels with 48-hour notice.
“This is an important year for THB Bagelry + Deli and this was the perfect time to unite with Planit,” said Tony Scotto, CEO and owner of THB, in a press release. “In addition to new store openings throughout the state, we are looking to announce even more significant news this summer. We are thrilled to be working with Planit on these announcements and cannot wait to show our customers what’s in store.”
“This is a true collision of great, appetizing, local brands,” said Matt Doud, co-founder of Planit and Order & Chaos, in a press release. “Much like our brands, THB Bagelry + Deli prides itself on its positive energy and sharing its passion with the customers it serves on a daily basis. We are thrilled to be working with THB to increase the awareness of their brand and excited that this collaboration allows Order & Chaos the opportunity to serve their delicious bagels.”
THB first opened as “Towson Hot Bagels” in Towson in 1999. It has since expanded to other Baltimore-area locations in Canton, Timonium, and Charles Village. The company will open two new locations in Columbia and Owings Mills later this year.
THB bagels are also sold at Urban Deli and Blooming Deli in Federal Hill.
