Iron Rooster Ends Dinner Hours at McHenry Row 

Iron Rooster announced it will be ending its dinner service starting on January 1, 2019. Concentrating on its concept of “breakfast all day,” the restaurant will be open everyday from 7am to 3pm.

Iron Rooster, which opened the McHenry Row location in September 2017, will utilize the current space to explore other options for quick-service breakfast. Iron Rosster Founder and COO Kyle Algaze said in a press release, “the new hours will allow the restaurant team to focus solely on breakfast, brunch and lunch and allow us the time to help innovate – not only from a culinary perspective, but look for more ways to better affect our guests’ experience.”

Iron Rooster’s other locations in Annapolis, Canton, and Hunt Valley will continue to offer dinner service.

The Beauty Co. Salon Closes on Cross Street 

The Beauty Co. Salon and Blowdry Boutique closed at 46 E. Cross St. Co-owner Sharia Cunningham told SouthBMore.com that she is working on setting up a new location.

The 325 sq. ft. retail space at 46 E. Cross St. was the longtime home of Zelda Zen before it relocated to Fells Point in 2013. The space has hosted several pop-up businesses since Zelda Zen left.

The space currently has a ‘for rent’ sign in the window.

After Hour Nails and Spa Opens in Federal Hill 

After Hour Nails and Spa opened last week at 1130 S. Charles St. in Federal Hill. It replaced Bella Nails & Spa which recently closed. According to Yelp, After Hour is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Lime Bikes Now in Baltimore 

Lime rolled out its dockless electric scooter program in September. Last week the company dropped off 250 electric-assisted dockless bikes to join the fleet.

Like the scooters, bikes will cost $1 to unlock and $.15/minute to ride. Lime and Bird reached a pilot agreement with the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) in September to allow them to officially operate in the city. Lime is eligible to bring 1,000 bikes to Baltimore and both Lime and Bird are allowed to operate 1,000 scooters in the city.

Bar Liquorice Named Baltimore’s No. 1 Cocktail Bar

According to Baltimore Business Journal, Riverside’s Bar Liquorice was named the No. 1 Cocktail Bar in Baltimore City. This was based on Yelp ratings and reviews.
